Three-day, six-dive certification-by-referral program!
This package is designed to really teach you to scuba dive! We spend 3 mornings learning how to dive by actually going diving in real open-water conditions! In my referral program we don't just practice scuba skills for 15 minutes in 15 feet of water w/ baby tanks! We'll try to spend at least half of each 40 to 60 minute dive exploring the reef!

You can GET certified & actually learn to dive with NO HOMEWORK while you're on vacation in Hawaii! This is the best way to do it!
BUT! We don't believe in just taking your money & selling you a cert card without first teaching you to dive. We won't do it!
(Had a call from a dive shop in Oregon the other day pleading with me to sell a referral student on her honey moon a cert card in the least amount of time with the least amount of dives possible for max moey. I said no. Was offered more money. Said no. Was cursed. Cursed back, hung up and felt righteous!!)
TO LEARN TO DIVE YOU HAVE TO GO DIVING!
This is your life and our butts at stake here! If you don't take it seriously & don't want to take the time to actually learn to dive please go elsewhere!
How does this work? You sign up for a certification class with a local dive shop. (Look in the Yellow Pages under "scuba diving instruction.") At home you can easily go through the confined water (pool) and academic portions of 
certification. Upon completion of this portion of your training, your mainland dive operation will issue you a "Letter of Referral," possibly in your log book, or a "Universal Referral form" which you present to us upon your arrival on Maui. All bona-fide scuba certifying agencies including NAUI, PADI, SSI, YMCA, PDCI, NASDS, IDEA and SDI offer this option.
This package is designed to be vacation friendly! In our three-day, six-dive certification-by-referral program we spend our mornings learning how to dive by actually
going diving in real open-water conditions! Again, in my cert by referral program we don't just practice a few scuba skills, We’ll spend most of each 40 to 50 minute dive exploring the reef! we're not just going to teach you the barest of basics,
WE'RE GOING DIVING!
Two dives a day for three great days. Six full open water dives! That adds up to
four to five HOURS UNDERWATER! Check around and ask! See if anyone else even comes close to giving you this much bottom time. Our job is to make you feel strong in the water at your rate of speed. We won't just sell you a certification card; you're actually going to learn the ins-and-outs of scuba while having a blast. You get a
minimum of six dives -- more if we think you need it! By the time we're finished, you'll be comfortable and confident underwater. You'll not only be certified, you'll also be a diver.
We try to make the referral program as convenient as possible (after all, you are on vacation!) and thereby allow you to really enjoy your stay here. Hence, we'll try and work with your schedule! Two days on, one off and another one on? We’ll set something up and stick to it! No problem! No homework! No pool sessions! No written tests! Just three mornings of great diving and we’re usually done between 11:30 and 12:30. This leaves you free to go out and enjoy all the rest that Maui has to offer.
With each dive, we'll continue to help you perfect your form, reduce your air consumption, introduce you to new skills and show you an even greater variety of marine life. We'll be going a bit further, a little deeper and stay down a touch longer on every dive. WHY?
